One of the intriguing things about the Havanese breed is the variety of colors, markings and color combinations.

Some of the most common colors are white, cream, champagne, gold and red sable, brindle, chocolate, silver and black.

It is very important to understand that the color of a Havanese puppy will likely change significantly as it matures. While we can not guarantee a color, we can educate you on what is likely.

  • BLACK: COLOR WILL NEVER CHANGE

  • CHOCOLATE: COLOR MAY/MAY NOT CHANGE

  • CREAM: COLOR WILL COMPLETELY CHANGE

  • FAWN: COLOR WILL COMPLETELY CHANGE

  • GOLD: FULL GOLD WILL NOT LOSE COLOR ONLY LIGHTEN

  • RED: FULL RED WILL NOT LOSE COLOR ONLY LIGHTEN

  • SILVER: COLOR WILL COMPLETELY CHANGE

Sammy and Bella are perfect example of how a puppy changes over time.
